Quantum Valley Set To Go On Stream On Jan 1

Amaravati: India’s first Quantum Valley Tech Park will be inaugurated here on January 1, 2026. Andhra Pradesh Government on Friday signed MoUs with IBM, TCS and L&T to establish cutting-edge quantum computing infrastructure. IBM Quantum System Two with 156-qubit Heron processor to be India’s most powerful quantum computer. TCS has committed to democratise quantum access across 43 research centers in 17 States.
The TDP-led NDA coalition is keen to emerge as global hub for quantum research, innovation, and governance applications.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday announced that the State’s pioneering Quantum Valley will be dedicated to the nation on January 1, 2026.
He disclosed this at an event held at his residence in Undavalli, where the government signed MoUs with IBM, TCS and L&T.
